This mod is based on the Santiago meme, it is the design for Classic Sonic that appears in Generations and Forces. The joke is that he’s not the real 90’s Sonic: he’s an imposter who’s a slightly off-shade of blue, and a bit too ‘soft’ compared to the original design. He’s mute unlike the OG Sonic, his movement is also a bit wonky compared to Sonic in his original games. From what I remembered they created the meme after seeing the Sonic Forces render of Classic Sonic. He is the true faker.
